PREMATURE BABY HATS PATTERN
Materials -
Size 4mm needles (usa 6)
Darning needle
Small amount of dk yarn machine washable
Cast on 40stitches
Knit all stitches, repeat this row until the brim measures 1 inch.
Purl all stitches
Knit all stitches
Repeat the last row until the work equals the same measurement as the bim
Knit even until the piece measures 2 inches
Row 1 decrease
K1, (K2tog, K8 3 times) K2tog K7
Row 2
Knit all stitches
Repeat the last two rows decreasig the number of stitches betwen decreases by one and the ending knit stitches by one each time. This will leave you with 8 stitches
Cut yarn, thread your darning needle and pull through stitches left on the needle tightly. Fold the hat in half and sew along the edge.
Roll up the brim and weave in any ends.
