|My name is Wendy and Noah is my beloved Nephew. I’ve been knitting for a few years and have set up my own small knitting service called Houselabel. I can and have knitted most things, all self taught, so when my sister told me about ‘Hugs for Noah’ I knew I had tohelp in any way I could. I have knit tiny items for Noah, little cardigans and vests, I also knit a tiny all-in-one that my sister designed. To know that my hobby, a craft that I love, can help a tiny baby in some way is more than rewarding, which is why I am happy to donate my time to help this amazing cause ‘Hugs for Noah’.

“I first met Shelly on twitter in 2010. We have been good friends since then. We both won Theo’s #SBS competition on twitter within a few weeks of each other.
When Shelly found out about little Noah’s condition I made him a knitted guardian angel to go in his cot and watch over him. Spina Bifida is a condition also close to my heart so I am do pleased to be asked to help in a small way and do what I can.
I am a knitwear designer and I would love to use my skills to help Noah’s charity.
My name is Amanda. I have been a carer for the past ten years. I recently taught myself to knit so I can make hats and blankets for tiny/premature babies in SCBUs. I first met Shelly on Twitter in 2011 and am always interested to hear of Noah’s progress. What Noah achieves on a daily basis is remarkable and when Shelly told me about ‘Hugs for Noah’ I knew immediately that I’d like to help in any way I can.Love Mandie ………twitter @is_cam_24
I am a mum and granny who runs a card making and craft materials online businessI met Shelly on Twitter and we became friends straight away – she’s always smiling and positive and thinking of others – a real inspiration. Noah has those same smiles – the sort that make everyone else smile too.So when the opportunity came to help Noah’s charity I was thrilled to be asked to be part of it. I’m sure there are many ways I can help, both as a crafter and as a retailer, and am really looking forward to it.

My name is Stephanie. I’m a widow after losing my husband a few years ago and a mother to 2 boys. I have been knitting since I was 12 years old. I met Michelle through work and we have built up a very special friendship.
I wanted to help the charity because Michelle’s son Noah who is my godson was not expected to survive when he was born, but he is a strong fighter and has proved everybody wrong. My mum & sister are also helping Hugs For Noah with knitting & crocheting
My name is Sue and Noah is my little soldier, as his nan I had already started knitting items for him before he was born.
I have been knitting since I was 5 and have designed my own knitting patterns which I very much enjoy doing. I have been involved in numerous events for charities including The Bury Lions, Arthritis Research, Mac Millan Nurses and Tickled Pink. With Noah’s head being slightly larger, due to his hydrocephalus, I have adjusted many patterns to fit him, which has taken some time!
When I was asked to help and be one of Noah’s Helpers I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to get started.
My name is Steph and Noah is my gorgeous baby brother, I started knitting in 2008 but this didn’t last as I was struggling to grasp the basics. 4 years later I had a reason to start again.
The things I’m best at knitting are little baby booties and I have designed patterns to make booties suitable for a variety of ages including premature babies, so when my mum told me about Noah’s helpers I couldn’t wait to get started!
Love Steph ……. twitter @CornDollyCrafts @MiniBobbins
Whilst knitting for Noah I was helping Steph (Noah’s big sister) with any knitting problems she had, starting with the basics as she’d not knit in 4 years (mind you I hadn’t touched my knitting in over 5 years!).
I love the fact Noah has his own charity which will not only help him but many others in similar situations. This charity won’t just help people now, it will help for years to come. I’m proud to be a part of the Hugs For Noah team. Love Pat
I’m Ally, Noah’s sister, since finding out about Noah’s Condition I have been helping to spread the word amongst my friends at school & making sure they, in turn, spread the word about taking folic acid and the importance planning pregnancys.
As one of Noah’s Helpers I will be assisting family members with orders taken from the site and gift wrapping parcels to be sent out, I am very happy to have been asked to be one of Noah’s many helpers!
I’m Rob, and I’m lucky enough to be Noah’s dad.
I’m a design engineer and I have used my work knowledge to help Michelle (Shelly) turn her ideas for a massage table into a reality.
I tend to stay in the back ground and give support and help in as many ways as I can, which hopefully frees Michelle up to do the thing she is best at (apart from looking after Noah obviously) which is helping others by spreading the word and raising awareness about folic acid.

We are Laura and Gordon Quick from Cards And Candles For All Occasions.
We have followed Noah’s story since he was just a bump in mummy’s tummy and we are inspired by his story.
We want to do all we can to help Noah and his family, we plan to handcraft a range of “Hugs For Noah” candles from which proceeds will be donated to baby Noah, we are also in the process of setting up a local group of crafters to produce baby products to donate to this wonderful cause.
Hi, I’m Shelley (yes another one!) and I first heard about Noah’s story through Twitter and immediately felt inspired by the entire Shellybobbins Family.
I set up an online ethical toy shop called Roobub & Custard after deciding that I didn’t want to return to my job as I wanted to spend as much time with my precious baby son as possible.
No. 2 son followed just over 2 years later, just 9 months before Noah was born. Thankfully I had been told about Folic Acid and took it the whole time I was trying for a baby and continued once I fell pregnant.
The message Shelly is sharing is critical for the health and wellbeing of “Mums & Babies to Be”; it doesn’t just start with a twinkle in Daddy’s eye! I very recently met Shelly, Rob & Noah and I can’t wait to see them again and have more hugs with Noah.
I’m truly humbled to have been asked to help the Hugs for Noah Charity. Noah’s smile each day, is an achievement that simply can’t be valued. Love Me and the Henderson Boys x
